Obituary of Barbara Mathes

Barbara Mathes 94 of Hamilton passed away peacefully at her home on March 23, 2024. Barbara was a parishioner of St. Raphael-Holy Angels parish, she is retired after 25 with Hamilton Township. a life member of the German American Society. An avid gardener she was very proud of her yard and flower garden where she spent many hours. Daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Stiller) Schlunsky. Wife the late Michael Mathes her husband of 65 years. Mother in law of the late Rick Daly. Surviving are her daughter Doris Mathes-Daly. Sister and Brother in law Eva and Joseph Franke. Niece Erika and Omelan Kotsopey. Nephew Ronald and Kristin Wildmann. Great nieces and nephews Andrew Kotsopey, Peter and Morgan Kotsopey, Joseph and Savannah Wildmann and Jacob Wildmann. Cousin Eva Buchler. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Wednesday March 27, at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call 8:30 - 10:00am Wednesday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton NJ 08610
