Albert Maurice Feole (Al), 91, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He will be eternally cherished and truly missed.

 

Al is predeceased by his loving wife Lucy Feole (Turano), his parents Albert and Linda (Persi) Feole, his siblings; Linda Aicher, Virginia Manion, Dee Sisti, Debra Feole and Maurice Feole, and many dear sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nephews and cousins.

 

Al loved his family. Surviving are his daughter Chris Suta (Richie), and sons; John Feole (Carme) and David Feole (Sherry), his grandchildren; John Feole Jr., Gina Cannon, Andrew Feole, Alyssa Feole, C. J. Sevilla, Taylor Feole and Nicky Feole, his six great-grandchildren and another on the way and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and loving friends.

 

Al was born in Trenton, N.J., graduated from Trenton High School, was in the Coast Guard for two years and worked at the N.J. State Department of Transportation until his retirement. He enjoyed the company of many work friends throughout his career and loved cooking and planning get-togethers with them.

 

Al was an avid golfer who made many special friends through the years on the golf courses in and around Mercer County. He started playing golf in 1982. Al enjoyed coordinating outings and celebrations with his wonderful golf buddies.

 

Al especially loved the Notre Dame University Fighting Irish football team and made several visits to South Bend to watch his team play and enjoy the campus with his children and grandchildren.

 

Al was a history and trivia buff with a sharp mind until the end. He loved watching and collecting classic movies spanning from the 1930's through today. He knew his large and varied collection by heart and always remembered actors' names and lines from the movies that were special to him, and that he enjoyed along with his family. Westerns, and the Three Stooges were also among his favorites.

 

Al enjoyed cooking and baking. He whipped up delicious homemade pizzas, dough and all, and great Italian sauces and cookies. Baking with his daughter-in-law Sherry was a favorite pass time. Al loved young people and played football and basketball through the years with his children and their friends. He coached an adult football team at one point in his life. He enjoyed wiffle ball games with his family as well, on his many annual trips to the Jersey shore.

 

Al loved volunteering at Joseph Cappello School at Mercer County Special Services school district when his daughter was principal there. He never missed a day to read to the students or enjoy a special occasion with them along with his grandson Nicky. He kept the cards and pictures from these visits in his home office for years.

 

Al was a devout catholic who had great faith and will always be an angel watching over those he loved.

 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Anthony Church, 626 South Olden Avenue, Trenton.

Relatives and friends may call 10:00am until Mass at the church.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home.
