Jo Ann Jesson Post 66 of Mercerville passed away November 7, 2015 Jo Ann was born in Trenton and has been a lifelong Hamilton resident, she attended Kuser Elementary School, Reynolds Middle School and graduate of Steinert High School, Class of 1967 Graduate of the College of New Jersey in 1971 with BS in Elementary Education Graduate of Rowan University in 1979 with Masters in Library Science Her career began at NJEA in research for 10 years. NJ, DEP Science and Research, Office of Cancer and Toxic Substances Research Set up the NJ DEP Information Research Library and the Monroe Township Public Library, References and Adult Services Librarian and Project Manager for the past 20 years. A member of the Edinburg Road Chapel, C&MA for the past 29 years, she was a deaconess and missions chairperson. a former member of Gethsemane Baptist Church from birth to 1984 a member of NJLA, Central Jersey Health Schience Library Assn. the Princeton-Trenton Special Library Assn. Princeton Freewheelers Bicycling Club, and the Friends of the Calabash, NC Library and the Hamilton Township Library a former member of the 4-H She played the Flute and Piccolo through her 2nd year of college She enjoyed reading, bicycling, walking, sewing, crocheting, art, traveling and gardening. Daughter of the late Joseph E. Jesson Sister of the late Catherine Irene Jesson Surviving are her mother Irene Horvath Jesson her husband Edward H. Post Daughter Jennifer E. Post and fiance Marc Crabtree brother and sister in law Joseph Edward & Linda Jesson Nieces, Katie Lauren, Sarah and Emily Jesson many in laws, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday November 14, 2015 at the Edinburg Road Chapel, 380 Edinburg Road. at Noon The Rev. Douglass M. Mindek will officiate Interment will be private Relatives and friends may call 10:30am until services at noon at the church in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Edinburg Road Chapel, 380 Edinburg Road, Mercerville NJ 08619
